If the heat from boiling water isn’t strong enough to remove your dent, dry ice may help. Just be sure to cover the area in which you plan on using dry ice with aluminum foil for frostbite prevention and to protect your paint job from being damaged by it. Finally, gloves will need to be worn when handling dry ice.
Cup plungers can also be an effective tool to remove dents from your car. Start by applying water liberally to both the plunger and dent, before pressing its end against it to release any tension and pulling up hard. It may take multiple attempts before all dents have been released from your vehicle by using this method, but once complete it should remove them entirely.
One final method for removing dents involves using a vacuum cleaner as a form of suction. In order to do this, cut a hole large enough for your vacuum’s nozzle to pass through in order to position it over the dent and begin pulling at it for several minutes until its power has faded out.

By contrast, dry ice can quickly freeze the metal within dented spots, allowing them to pop out without having to pay for expensive paint repairs later on.
Dry ice has many useful applications beyond refrigeration, including blast cleaning – where small pellets of dry ice are shot from a compressed air gun at high speed to remove residues such as oil, ink, rubber and mold from industrial equipment and smoke damage following fires. This method also makes dry ice an efficient way to deodorize clothing.

Simply make a hole beneath a pot that contains your dent, tape it around it, put in your vacuum hose through that hole, turn on the vacuum, and let its suction pull out any shallower dent dents that have formed in no time – though some glue residue might remain, which can easily be taken care of with heat or alcohol.
Plungers
Plungers are powerful tools, capable of clearing drains. But using one on your car’s bumper to try and pull out dent will only exacerbate it further – although this DIY TikTok hack may save money over professional repair costs, it often ends up doing more harm than good.
TikTok users have taken to using the suction power of a toilet plunger to pull out dents from your vehicle’s bumper. The process may seem straightforward: all you need to do is add water to a standard bathroom plunger and use its suction force against it over the dent, plunging away. But which plunger you choose matters; cup plungers should be used instead of the common flange varieties found in sinks; otherwise using the wrong type can only worsen things and cause additional paint damage on your paintwork and bumper paint damage on your bumper.
If you want to try this hack for yourself, grab a cup plunger at any grocery or hardware store. Be sure to wet both the plunger and dent before trying to extract them by applying too much pressure; too much force may actually do more harm than good.
As with the hairdryer myth above, this trick won’t work because it relies on metal expanding as it heats up – something metal can’t do as it doesn’t absorb large quantities of hot water and therefore won’t do. Furthermore, too much pressure could damage its chemical makeup and lead to cracks appearing on its plastic bumper and cause irreparable damage.
